Renew Democracy Initiative and ACHF Have Flag Signed by General Kyrylo Budanov, Raise Donations for Ukrainian Defenders

Thanks to the auction of the signed Ukrainian flag at the Renew Democracy Initiative’s 2025 Heroes of Democracy Gala, ACHF was able to donate $2,500 to UNSPIA (Charitable Fund For Humanitarian Support and Development Of The International Association Of Soldiers Of Peace). This donation will go toward assisting Ukrainian defenders with non-lethal aid. Of the $2,500, $675 came from the auction of the flag signed by General Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. The additional funding was provided by generous donors who support Ukraine and ACHF’s mission. Thank you, donors!

ACHF President Lena Denman attended with Retired Lieutenant General Ben Hodges and his wife, Dr. Alexandra Schwarzkopf. This was Lena's second year to attend with the couple, and we are incredibly thankful for their support. 

It was truly an honor to be invited back to RDI’s Heroes of Democracy Gala. The air of the event was wonderful, and it was inspiring to be among so many people who want to see democracy prevail. We hope to continue this partnership for many years to come and will continue to work to support democracy in Ukraine.
