Center for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery: December Visit and Gift to Patient

In December 2025, Lena Denman visited the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery to deliver Christmas gifts and other support to the hospital and its patients. One of these patients was Denis.

Denis has a serious heart condition that prevents him from being able to go to school in person. As a result, Denis has been taking classes online while receiving treatment. Until now, he has been studying and doing work on his mobile phone. However, thanks to donor funding and grant funding from UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief, ACHF was able to gift Denis a laptop to make his academic endeavors more achievable.

We are thankful for the staff at the UCCC who continually pour their heart and soul into treating their patients. ACHF is proud to support this hospital and thankful we get to be a part of the hope that the UCCC brings to Ukraine.
