(Physical) Chernihiv Regional Hospital receives two new forehead lamps for surgical lighting

Lighting is critical to continuing surgeries when electricity is cut. Chernihiv Regional Hospital requested and received on December 27, 2022 two new forehead lamps so that they could continue to save lives even when electrical outages occur. This purchase helped the Ukrainian economy, as a medical supply company in Ukraine supplied the equipment and delivered it to the hospital. This purchase and delivery was made possible through the generosity of our donors and grant funding from the United Methodist Committee on Relief.

A surgeon at the Chernihiv Regional Hospital thanks ACHF for help and sending support through such a difficult time. He says “Some are fighting in battlefields and doctors are fighting in surgical rooms! Thanks for the new head lights! We will cherish them and with the help of ACHF save the lives of our soldiers!”
