(Physical) Kharkiv hospital receives beds
(Physical) Chernivtsi Psycho-Neurological receives medical supplies
The Nizhnyo-Stanivetsky Psychological Boarding House, Нижньо-Станівецький Будинок-інтернат, received an oxygen concentrator, a hematological analyzer, and an electrocardiograph to their health facility in Chernvtsi, Ukraine on February 27, 2023. Thanks to your generous donations and grant funding from the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR), we are grateful to report this much needed aid delivered!
(Physical) Zhytomyr received 4 monitors
On February 18, 2023, four patient monitors were purchased and delivered to the Zhytomyr Regional Clinical Hospital Житомирська обласна клінічна лікарня ім. Гербачевського. The total cost of these monitors was $6,000.00 USD. We are grateful to our generous donors and grant funding from UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief for supplying critical medical supplies to this hospital!

(Physical) Heart Institute in Kyiv received a cardiac e-book subscription
On February 10, 2023 a five year institutional subscription to the STS Cardio-thoracic Surgery e-book was given to the Heart Institute Інститут серця МОЗ України in Kyiv. The STS Cardio-thoracic Surgery E-book provides the most current, comprehensive and continuously updated information available in the specialty. Edited by more than 600 leading surgeons from around the world, it includes 300 interactive chapters in all the main cardio-thoracic surgery domains. The STS E-book includes a rich, multimedia educational experience with new hand drawn medical illustrations, photographs and surgical videos. We are grateful to Unbound Medicine for their cooperation in providing a five year subscription at an excellent price. (Physical) Kyiv Regional received 3 surgical retractor tools
On February 10, 2023, Kyiv Regional Oncology received 3 surgical retractor tools that were backordered. We are grateful for our generous donors and grant funding from UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief. Now cancer patients will have the best surgical tools possible to fight cancer.
(Physical) Center of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery receives transplantation drug
We are happy to report the purchase and delivery of a package of Mabtera - Redditux on February 6, 2023. This is a drug used to prevent the rejection of heart transplantation. This pharmaceutical was delivered to the Children’s Center for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Центр дитячої кардіології і кардіохірургії in Kyiv thanks to our generous donors and grant funding from UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief.
(Spiritual) Play centers at the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery and the Heart Institute in Kyiv received makeovers
On February 2, 2023 we are pleased to announce that the Children’s Center for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Центр дитячої кардіології і кардіохірургії and the Heart Institute in Kyiv received new toys for their play rooms. This was funded through our generous donors. All funds received between November 25-December 31, 2022 went to give children toys. Patients at both hospitals receive toys as gifts to lift their spirits as the recover. Now, we have updated pay areas so that the children of hospital employees and the pediatric patients have an indoor place to play.
(Physical) Okhmatdyt received surgical tools
Thanks to the generosity of of our donors and grant funding from UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief, on January 9, 2023, a Thompson Surgical Retractor System has been purchased and delivered to Okhmatdyt НДСЛ Охматдит. This is the largest pediatric hospital in Ukraine. This system will help save the lives of children by giving these skilled surgeons the tools they need to conduct liver and kidney transplants.
(Physical) Nutritional assistance distributed in Ukraine
We are excited to report that Baylor Scott & White Faith in Action Initiatives funded the shipment of 96 pallets of nutritional assistance to Ukraine. This assistance began distribution in Ukraine on January 3, 2023 and will help Ukrainians make it through the tough winter ahead. This shipment was delivered by AEC Parcel Service. Over 1 million servings of meal replacements were distributed in Ukraine.
