Zhytomyr Regional Clinical Hospital

May 18, 2023: We went to see the Regional Clinical Hospital in Zhytomyr Житомирська обласна клінічна лікарня ім. Гербачевського. We were welcomed by the hospital’s Director Bohdan Leskiv and one of their top cardiologists, Anatoly Matviychuk. The building is 125 years old and has 25 departments. There is over 1,000 staff members and 300 of those are physicians. We were shown the four monitors that we purchased and delivered thanks to our generous donors and grant funding from UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief. We also were shown the two operation tables, one in the Surgical department and one in the Cardiology department that were purchased and delivered to this hospital as well.
